Position:
·
Continuously motivate sales staff and support staff.
·
Communicate on a regular basis to sales staff regarding new products, policies, company issues, etc.
·
Supervise store personnel and enforce company policies.
·
Assist sales associates with various customer service issues such as repairs, returns, defective merchandise, dissatisfied customers, etc.
·
Utilize Retail Pro and its inventory management functions.
·
Provide monthly qualitative and quantitative business reports as stipulated by the NY management team.
·
Create staff work schedules and ensure appropriate store coverage.
·
Payroll.
·
Develop events that will continue to grow customer base, with particular emphasis placed on building local market.
·
Maintain positive relationship with members of corporate office, mail office, repair facility and other stores via administering follow-up and paperwork in an accurate and timely fashion.
·
Monitor Profit and Loss, and maintain controllable expenses and sales plan.
·
Regular Cycle/Physical inventory requirements must be met as stipulated by NY management. Merchandise discrepancies and stock shrinkage must not exceed corporate standards.
·
Identify individual and team training needs. Create and implement regular training sessions.
·
Maintain merchandising standards as set forth by corporate visual department.
·
Exhibit strong interpersonal skills in dealing with staff, peers, supervisors and the NY and Italian corporate office.
·
Maintain the highest degree of customer service daily.
·
Perform other projects, as assigned.
Profile:
Ideal education, previous work experience, special skills (e.g., foreign languages), and personal characteristics. Prioritize by: fully proficient (1), knowledge of and ability to develop greater competency (2), preferred but not required (3).

Minimum of three years in specialty retail management experience (1)

Have a passion for the fashion and luxury-goods industry (1)
