VSE Corporation is currently seeking the skill set of an Employee Relations Manager to implement and administer policies, procedures and programs covering several areas of employee services to further the development of employee/company relationships.
Counsels corporate and field management regarding Human Resources policies and procedures including EEO and harassment investigations. Counsels employees in all areas of Human Resources including discrimination investigation.
Ensures Compliance with all state/federal laws regarding employee relations (i.e. ADA, Worker’s Compensation, Family Leave, etc.) Researches and recommends Human Resources policies and procedures.
Trains corporate and field staff in Human Resources policies and procedures and management development issues. Keeps abreast of trends and changes in Human Resources legislation and effects changes or makes recommendations for change to keep the company practices in compliance with state and federal governmental agencies.
Works closely with all levels of management including executive officers.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and ten to twelve years of related
generalist experience (in Human Resource management).
Have knowledge of labor/management relations law.
A Master Degree in Human Resources or JD is Perferred.
