General Summary The Employee Wellness Program Manager will develop and oversee the employee wellness and work/life initiatives by leading a team of wellness professionals who develop programs to assist employees to improve overall health and well-being. Responsibilities will include evaluating and developing programs based on employee health risks/employee needs and evaluating the programs’ success. The Employee Wellness Program Manager is also responsible for supervising the vendor who manages the day to day operations of the NCH Fitness Center. Other responsibilities include creating a short and long term vision for the department, meeting budget goals, collecting outcome data and may involve grant writing.

Minimum Requirements · Bachelor's degree in health education, public health, nursing, social sciences or related allied health profession · At least four years’ experience in multi-agency community health or wellness program · Documented evidence of developing, implementing and evaluating programs for adults · Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required · Experience in grant writing to community or governmental agencies preferred · Computer skills for word processing, database management, and slide presentation desired · Ability to work independently · Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds · Current Ohio driver’s license and access to transportation Minimum Physical Requirements 1. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
