Support the organization in the implementation of innovative and effective continuous improvement recruiting strategies. Work collaboratively with other Goodwill staff on coordination of recruitment activities and initiatives to achieve targeted hiring goals. Support and drive Goodwill’s mission to help people in Central Indiana prepare for, find and keep jobs, with an emphasis on attaining financial independence and economic security. Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Goodwill’s Mission, Vision, Values, 5 Basic Principles and Standards of Conduct.


Bachelor’s degree in a human relations field, Human Resources, Business, etc.

  • 2+ years recruiting experience with a track record of success in a high volume, fast paced environment; prior experience recruiting across a number of functional areas/disciplines is preferred
  • Previous experience with a track record of successfully working with Human Resources, hiring managers, and other key hiring decision makers
  • Proficient computer skills: Internet searching, Microsoft Office products, database mining and management
  • Superior communication skills (listening, written and verbal); mature interpersonal relationship skills
  • Able to size up people quickly and accurately
  • Applied knowledge of EEO, ADA, and employment laws
  • Experience managing administrative duties including data collection and reporting, timely follow-up communication both verbal and written
  • Must demonstrate an affinity and enthusiasm for Goodwill’s mission of helping low-income, low-skilled job seekers attain economic self-sufficiency
  • Project management skills; ability to handle multiple assignments, projects, and priorities
  • Results oriented and driven to achieve goals
  • Bilingual language skills are a plus

Compensation and Benefits Summary

Salary range: $35,000 - $38,000 annually
