The Employment and Training Director is responsible for the overall management of the project, grant implementation and monitoring of sub-grantees. This position works closely with the Vice President and Accounting Department to ensure all financial and
contract obligations are being met.

Provide management and oversight of the grant funded projects to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal requirements.
Establish relationships with community partners in project sites.
Plan and implement all project requirements.
Lead the team in the RFP process to select the sub-grantees for the project.
Monitor contract compliance of the Southwest Key (SWK) contract and of sub-grantee contracts.
Work with the Quality Assurance Team to establish a monitoring system and run monthly reports on target outcomes, analyze data and implement corrective action plan in collaboration with the project team and sub-grantees.
Utilize the SWK data base for all required data entry.
Manage the internal SWK budget as well as monitor the outgoing funds to sub-grantees in collaboration with the accounting department.
Hire, supervise and evaluate the performance of the SWK project staff.
Work with Evaluation consultant on reviewing monthly and quarterly reports for accuracy and completeness.
Lead the SWK team in identifying training needs of sub-grantees and establishing and implementing a training plan.
Work in conjunction with the project team to ensure that all sub-grantees meet the project outcomes.
Meet all grant timelines and outcomes.
Serve as the main contact for the Federal project officer.

Bachelor's degree in human services or business field and five years experience managing workforce programs.
Possess administrative and program leadership.
Must have excellent verbal, written communication skills, and demonstrated customer service skills.
Knowledge and understanding of local, state, and federal rules, regulations, and policies specific to workforce development.
Knowledge of Contracting and budget management.
Must have knowledge of data collection and quality improvement processes.
