Job Description

ICF is adding staff to its energy efficiency team in

Irvine, CA

to support a range of energy efficiency programs. Our clients include utilities, recognizable Fortune 500 global corporations, as well as a variety of industry, and Government organizations. In this Research Assistant role you will work for utility sponsored energy efficiency projects focused on Residential, Commercial or Industrial markets. This is an opportunity to apply your academic knowledge, gain exposure to major projects, interact with experts and clients in the field, while building content knowledge and consulting skills. Key Responsibilities

Assisting with developing and implementing energy efficiency programs

Preparing persuasive presentations

Relationship building activities

Research and analysis of energy efficiency and industry issues

Corresponding with energy efficiency program contractors and other market players

Bachelor's degree in Sciences, Engineering, Policy, Business or Technical Certification

1 year of Professional experience within the energy efficiency industry

Preferred Skills/Experience

BPI certification desired

Energy efficiency technology knowledge desired

Professional Skills

Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills

Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information

Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients and vendors

Excellent problem solving skills with ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems and recommend solutions

Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Access)
