PA’s Energy Capital Markets (ECM) practice is an internationally recognized leader in the energy industry. We have participated in some of the largest restructurings in the power industry, including serving as the power markets advisor to Calpine Corporation during its $20 billion bankruptcy. Our market experts routinely advise clients, such as independent power producers, investment banks, private equity firms, and investor-owned utilities, on multibillion-dollar strategic decisions. While we offer expertise across the energy industry, our core is comprised of five key service areas: Capital markets and strategy, Environmental and market policy, Litigation support, Restructuring and Finance and accounting advisory.

We are looking for a hard working individual that is eager to perform research in PA's ECM practice based in Denver, CO. Our work is done in a fast paced environment as clients rely on our practice to provide independent analysis and expert insights quickly and accurately. The research function is a crucial component in ensuring our work is delivered on schedule, mistake free, and in an insightful manner.

Responsibilities for this role include, but not limited to, conducting in-depth industry research, providing daily industry market news and summaries to the practice, and analyzing and distributing current power and fuel forwards. The ability to work accurately and independently and to clearly and concisely communicate analysis to senior staff is critical to the success of our projects.
