OnX is currently looking for an Engagement Managers to work in the NYC, Irvine CA, Dallas and Chicago areas.
As the foundation of the OnDemand Team, the Engagement Manager is responsible for acting as the main link between the OnX sales team and the customer. Engagement Managers, and the OnDemand team, are a component of the OnX Technology Solutions and Professional Services team and collectively generate revenue and profit to that team.
Sale and delivery of OnDemand in a given region through a symbiotic relationship with regional Account Executives and Area Sales Director/V.P’s.
Assists in positioning OnDemand as a service to OnX customers/potential customers and works to build relationships within each customer that will enable OnX to provide consultants on a Staff-Augmentation (Time & Materials) basis.
Provides OnDemand specific presentations to customers focused on the benefits and competitive positioning of the offering.
Works in conjunction with Account Executives in their account planning to determine where OnDemand is best suited to deliver value to the customer and high margin services revenue to OnX. Their variable compensation is tied directly to their ability to drive margin dollars and growth in the region and accounts they support. EM’s also drive their own business development activities to support new account acquisition for OnX.
Assume ownership of the OnDemand process from start to finish including; sales, opportunity management, bill rate negotiation, resourcing, cost rate determination, subcontractor agreements, client side agreements (SOE), engagement initiation, ongoing subcontractor management, reporting and problem resolution.
Build custom sourcing strategies based on the unique needs of each customer, and determines/negotiates a suitable pricing model (rates, terms) based on a series of revenue and margin expectations for the OnDemand group and operates within a preset approval matrix for margin goals on each engagement. Sourcing strategies include internal resource identification, the use of the internal OnDemand sourcing team, external 3rd party recruitment partners and 3rd party service providers. The focus is on locating the best possible resource regardless of source with a secondary goal of profit maximization.
Rely on an OnDemand support team that provides resourcing expertise as required, subcontract administration, subcontractor payment, reporting and general administration.
Engage various Subject Matter Experts (Solution Architects, Solution Managers, Delivery consultants, Partners, Resource Managers and Independent consultants) to validate the scope and technical/business requirements of each OnDemand opportunity and to ensure the proposed resource has the expertise required by the engagement/customer as well as to indentify a potential escalation path should one be required once the engagement is underway.
Provide on-going relationship management to both customer and OnDemand resources engaged on site. They are the first level contact for all OnDemand escalations and are empowered to make decisions to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Information Systems or related IT experience
Minimum 5 years experiencing managing full life-cycle, IT recruitment and a focus on selling staff augmentation consulting services to corporate/enterprise customers
Stellar oral/written communication, and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated effectiveness in a customer facing role
Expected travel for the position is 20%. Travel for this role varies, within a region (ex: South East) and throughout Canada and the U.S.
