The Engine & Fuel Senior Product Manager will lead the strategy, product development, value proposition, and market needs analysis for Engine products including; Emissions upgrades required by law, with key focus on EVO Tier 2+ compliance on the North American EVO fleets. In this role you will focus on all Fuel related product upgrades, such as; AESS.
In addition you will:
Own the product throughout the life cycle, with regards to functionality, upgrade, deliverability, cost and price, and be responsible to integrate customer requests on reliability improvements into future offering
Drive product integration plans, where necessary, via internal and external partnerships as possible
Be responsible for developing market strategy and delivering profitability for products, including; new product justification and competitive position
Drive collaboration with GE Commercial team to include ITO, Sales, and Marketing and customers to develop and execute multi generation product designs, product plans, and new product introductions (NPI)
Support Regional PM's in development and tracking of pipeline opportunities regarding your product line
Attend regular rhythm meetings and conferences
Lead cross-functional teams including; Engineering, Manufacturing, Sourcing, and Marketing to deliver NPI programs (Tech team)
Lead Session T idea generation within the product line
Engage with suppliers at a strategic level, in conjunction with Sourcing team (Tech team)
Support commercialization process as new products go to market
Support all trade show opportunities defining and coordinating the product messages, displays, and demonstrations
Support the Sales team in creating and presenting product definition and value stories
Work with marketing and local sales teams to identify critical customer requirements
Develop product concept to satisfy customer requirements to the extent feasible within cost, technical, standardization, servicability, and likely profitability
Support cross functional team efforts to meet time frame of proposal, cost targets, and delivery
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 5 years of professional work experience in heavy industry
Minimum of 5 years of commercial experience
Ability and willingness to travel 25% of the time, or as required

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university
Master's Degree of Business Administration (MBA) from an accredited college or university
Excellent customer oral and written communications skills
Results oriented, with the ability to deliver on commitments and follow through
Ability to integrate and drive action across multi-functional teams
Strategic analytical thinking, with data oriented decision making skills
Ability to work with cross-functional teams to help build effective processes
Six Sigma training or equivalent Quality training
Strong business analysis, problem solving, and strategy development skills
Ability to interact at all levels of the organization and with other GE businesses
Proven ability to engage with customers at the executive level
