PhD candidate in the design of RF circuits for transceiver ICs.
Experience in one or more of the following areas are required.
•Strong knowledge on the deep sub-micron CMOS technologies
•Hands-on experience in designing LNA, Mixer, RF VGAs, PA, VCO, fractional-N PLL, Low-noise bias circuits, etc.
•Ability to comprehend the RF transceiver’s system level requirement and to translate it into the circuit level specifications. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills are essential.
•Strong knowledge on IC design CAD tools such as Spectre, SpectreRF, Spice, Matlab, ADS, etc
•A thorough understanding of the physical layout requirement and ability to perform the critical layouts
•Lab testing skills to evaluate the prototype unit to the design specification.
•Motivated to carry out a wide variety of tasks with clear communication and presentation skills in a dynamic team environment.
Description : Actively seeking a Ph.D. candidate in RFIC designer to design high performance RF/Analog circuits for today’s highly sophisticated CMOS RF transceiver products, using state-of-the-art deep sub-micron CMOS technologies. These products include RF/Baseband transceivers for Wireless LAN, MIMO, BT,and many other emerging mobile communication applications.
