Become part of the team in driving cutting edge storage products to the market. It is a unique opportunity for future engineers to experience a start-up like fast-paced environment with real-life engineering tasks. Minimum BS CS/CE or equivalent, with at least 2-3 years experience in the design, and/or development of operating systems software including device drivers, kernel development and/or firmware development for SOC based ASICs. MS preferred. Requirements:
• 2-3 years experience developing Firmware and bring-up for Systems-on-Chips (SOC) controller ASICs.
• Hands-on experience with bring-up of FPGAs, SoCs (preferably ARM SoCs)is huge plus.
* Hands-on experience with board bring-up using proprietary and freeware boot-loaders, all the way up to embedded OS.
* Experience with various GPIOs, flash types such as SPI and NAND.
* Experience porting OS from/to ARM based processors is a huge plus.
• Proficiency in C and OS/Kernel debugging skills are required.
• Algorithm and data structures expertise are required.
• Commitment to sound software engineering practices and a passion for quality.
• Proven record of meeting tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.
• Strong communication skills are essential, both written and oral, targeted at a wide variety of internal and external audiences.
• Expected: independence, drive, motivation, willingness to go above and beyond, flexibility, and cooperative spirit.
The ideal candidate has experience in developing platform level software for an embedded level and/or storage/appliance level platform and the capability to confidently take complex projects from fuzzy idea to actual customer deployment.
