Perform as the technical lead to a multi-functional/discipline development team to advance the development of wheel, brake and anti-skid hydro-mechanical components. This responsibility extends from initial concept development through flight testing and aircraft certification.
Define and negotiate component level requirements with customers and suppliers and disseminate those requirements internally to various engineering groups. This may require providing extended on-site technical support at the aircraft manufacturer both domestic and international.
Monitors the program schedule from a project engineering view point to ensure the program milestones are met.
Is the authority for technical approval.
Provides oversight and approval of the modeling, drafting, testing efforts, and associated documents.
Provides extended on-site technical support to MABS technical partners
Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME)
Good planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision-making, problem-solving, oral and written communication skills.
Familiarity with aerospace regulations, standards and recommended practices , e.g. 14CFR Part 25, EASA CS-23 / CS-25, RTCA-DO-160 and MIL-STD-810.
Extra consideration will be given to candidates having a working knowledge of aircraft braking systems and hydraulic and electro-hydraulic components.
Ability to travel Internationally to provide technical support to MABS technical partners, including India
