Our multi-billion dollar Client, with more than 40,000 employees and a world-class IT Division located in greater Ft. Lauderdale, FL is looking for a Hotel QA Automation Engineer for a six month contract opportunity.

Scope of Work:
• Assess testing needs as well as design and coordinate the automated testing strategy for application suite
• Execute Quality Assurance activities to ensure system functional standards and requirements are met
• Design and build efficient and reusable test cases and test scenarios for functional, regression and performance testing, using automated test suites, as appropriate
• Develop reusable functions to perform common functionality executed in automated test cases
• Support and enhance existing automated testing framework, leveraging QA software products and tools, i.e. QTP, LoadRunner, QC
• Analyze and troubleshoot test script execution issues and test results
• Gain understanding of operating environment, business and applications
• Identify and advise on opportunities to code applications in a framework that supports ability to automate testing
Required Skills:
• Requires experience performing automated functional testing with web and client/server applications
• Bachelor degree in area of speciality or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing field utilizing software testing tools, i.e. HP/Mercury QTP, Load Runner, and Quality Center.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
• Analytical: highly organized with strong problem resolution skills
• Dynamic: ability to multitask and handle changing priorities, work independently with minimal direction
• Team working skills: must possess ability to interact with peers in a high-bandwidth and collaborative fashion.
• Results orientation: must be delivery focused and exercise good judgment.
• Proven ability in training and knowledge share with team members
Education:
Certification with Load Runner, QTP, and QC, a plus
