Job Description:
Tetra Tech, Inc., an industry leader and nationally
recognized engineering and consulting firm, is seeking a
motivated, intelligent, independent professional to fill
an Engineer/Program Director position in our Santa
Barbara, California office. The Santa Barbara office
provides consulting services to a wide range of clients
in diverse settings throughout California and the Unites
The successful candidate will help lead development of
services and programs for post commissioning energy
generation engineering services support throughout the
US. Key requirements of the position include experience
with management of engineering support and optimization
services; supervision of troubleshooting and engineering
solution development activities, and client services
This individual will lead development and project
efforts in a team environment with professionals in the
Santa Barbara office, as well as support other Tetra
Tech offices nation-wide. Key competencies that are
important to the individual's and group's success
include strong communication skills, teamwork, and
flexibility. The individual must possess excellent
organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
and be able to perform tasks with limited direction and
oversight. The position will require some overnight
Specific responsibilities for this position will

include, but are not limited to:
(1) Establish new and maintain existing client relations
and programs.
(2) Assemble and manage execution teams for engineering
studies and services.

Job Requirements:Preferred Skills/Experience:
(1) 15+ years’ experience engineering and program
(2) At least five years’ experience senior program
management of multiple engineering skill sets preferably
related to electricity generation and plant
(3) Demonstrated understanding of post commissioning
services market for alternative energy.
(4) Proven ability to manage multiple, technically
complex projects with high quality results on budget and
on schedule.

Education Required:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in one of the following
disciplines: Electrical, Environmental, or Mechanical
Engineering or related fields.
