The engineer in the compression services group is responsible for the following functions:
Provide technical oversight to support natural gas compression and processing facilities across EQT's compression fleet.
Lead technical process improvement initiatives.
Provide engineered solutions to complex problems facing gas compression and dehydration systems to support operation personnel.
Develop comprehensive failure analysis studies and lead implementation of corrective action.
Develop and maintain compression performance curves.
Plan, scope, and implement facility projects to enhance safety, reliability, and operability.
Required Skills
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Knowledge of gas processing including gas dehydration systems and NGL extraction.
Knowledge and understanding of system controls and PLCs.
Proficient with:
Compression Performance Software
Engine Rating Software
Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Required Experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering
At least two years of experience in a related position, including experience in both slow and high speed natural gas engines and compressors, with a focus on Caterpillar, Waukesha, Ariel, Dresser and Cooper equipment.
This position can be located in either Charleston, WV; Clarksburg, WV; or Pittsburgh, PA.
Candidate must be willing to travel to facilities in territory: PA, WV, KY and VA.
