Minimum Qualifications
Must possess a High School diploma, GED or equivalent work experience

8 years relevant experience (or less if employee consistently
demonstrates senior level performance), including as a lead on large-
scale and complex company projects

Ability to present Class C CA Driver License on Day 1 of the job.
Internal PG&E employees: Must have qualified on the Physical Test
Battery (PTB) and Technical Test (TECH) exams prior to applying External
and Hiring Hall applicants: Mustqualify on the Physical Test Battery
(PTB) and Technical Test (TECH) exams prior to interviewing

Desired Qualifications
Bachelor degree in related discipline or equivalent work experience

Atleast 1year of experience with architectural, civil, or mechanical
drafting and ability to review and understand architectural plans and
mechanical drawings
Atleast 2 years of experince with Autocad (2009 or later version)
Demonstrated experienceworking with customers on resolving issues or
working on projects together
Atleast 1 year experience in demonstrating effective project management
/ process oriented and negotiation skills
Atleast 1 year of experience using SAP
Atleast 1year of utility operations knowledge and experience
Atleast 1 year of knowledge and experience with PG&E gas system and
construction standards. Experience with web-based software (Internet
Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, etc)

Schedule Development and Analysis:
Coordinates with Scientists and Project Managers to develop project
schedule and budget forecast plans with functional department input.
Attends project and jobkickoff and walk down meetings.
Creates, maintains and updates schedules. Works with supervisors to
determine if baseline schedules can be changed, but supervisor makes
ultimate decisions.
Documents, monitors and communicates project milestonesand risks with
appropriate stakeholders.
Participates in project status meetings, collects progress data and
revises project plan as needed.
Monitors financial progress and maintains order group. Develops and
maintains project schedule plansand work breakdown structures using
appropriate software (e.g., SAP Project System, SAP Work Management
System, MS Project, and/or Primavera as appropriate for project needs).
Provides project team members with status information and milestones
that ensure timely decisions that take advantage of changing
circumstances and resource availability.
Provides reports to management on overall program status regarding
percentage of milestones met. Reports can include Level 1-3 status
reports;Earned Value reports; metrics tracking reports; scope,
schedule, budget reports; or other reports requested by management.

Cost Plan Development and Analysis:
Uses the cost and schedule plan to determine if project objectives are
Creates, maintains, and updates monthly forecast budgets with
Scientist/Project Manager input.
Prepares various cost reports and maintains forecast accuracy. Prepares
project performance analysis, cost, and schedule status reports.
Identifies cost and schedule variances from objectives and recommends
corrective action.
Assesses and reports on project performance using established industry
Ensures that responses to project budget, and GRC or FERC costrequests
reflect accurate and current project cost information and stakeholders
are in concurrence.
Provides regular communication on project cost, schedule and risk status
to project team members, stakeholders and management.
Interfaceswith design and planning resources and software systems.
Reviews and assists in preparing the long term budget input.
Ensures that responses to budget and cost requests reflect correct
project cost information and stakeholders are in concurrence.
Inputs data into various programs and prepare various cost and
forecasting reports.

Project/Process Documentation & Reporting:
Verifies that project cost and schedule milestones were/were not
attained and provides input to identify futureprocess or business
improvements and works with responsible parties to implement.
Monitors and coordinates management of orders in SAP to support
technical staff, project managers, and management from inception through
completion and ensures thatall required documentation is entered in
current software system (e.g., SAP, Primavera, EDMS).
Resolves all open items, ensures compliance requirements are met and
settlement rules are entered, and closes out orders.
Maintains scope change,contingency release, change order, and journal
entry logs.
Maintains written and electronic project documentation and records for
required aspects of the project. Maintains project files in accordance
with established guidelines and requirements(e.g., utilizing the
electronic document management system or EDMS, shared drive).
Documents change order requests, project status, key issues, risks and
resolution, priority changes and approvals.
Provides Scientists, Project Managers,management, and Business Partners
with monthly reports of project costs and/or schedule information
including variance analysis according to an agreed upon level of detail
and prioritization.
Provides Project Team members with current statusreports containing
schedule and cost information. Complies with Utility Operations
Policies, Standards and Guidelines.
Assists Scientist and Project Managers with Post Job Critiques.
Identifies and captures opportunities to improve proceduresand
Works with other business partners to create and document business
processes. Ensures that business processes are followed and documented,
to maintain compliance with financial reporting obligations (Sarbanes
