We are interested in candidates who can work with experienced engineers to accomplish the following tasks:
Design, fabricate, and test assembly aids, tooling/fixturing, etc.
Build prototypes, perform design verification testing, record and present data to engineers.
Investigate design proposals for improving equipment performance
Evaluate existing production methods for areas of improvement
Provide clear and concise documentation of the production processes in the form of assembly instructions.
Competence with basic hand and power tools; and basic understanding of mechanical systems/machine tool and welding experience is preferred.
It is expected for the candidate to consistently be at work and on time; achieve challenging goals; demonstrate persistence and overcomes obstacles; prioritize and plan work activities; develop realistic action plans; demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; finds ways to improve and promote quality; and uses equipment and materials properly.
Working hours: Hours are flexible between 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM with a minimum of 20 hours a week.
