Your role will be to lead and contribute tothe development of core components of Rearden Commerce's Expense Management Platform . As an Engineering Manager , you will contribute to the architecture, design, and implementation of Expense platform components and services and will be responsible for delivering new capabilities in a timely manner with high quality. The success of this position will be measured by the quality, timeliness, and depth of the designs and code produced.
You will have responsibility for the following:
Designing, implementing, and supportingcomponents and services within the Rearden Commerce's Expense management platform. Lead a development team to deliver successful product releases on-time with great quality in an agile environment Ensuring that designs meet functional and quality requirements Writing automated unit and component tests to guarantee the quality of the product Partnering with product management and cross functional teams to set the direction of the Expense management platform. Collaborating with QA, Operations, Support, and Service Delivery teams to meet service quality and time to market goals Mentoring other engineers, ensuring the quality of their code and designs Contributing to a culture of innovation and quality across the engineering organization
Qualifications
Very high technical competence, with a proven track record leading successful engineering teams delivering complex commercial software platforms 8+ years experience buildingsoftwareat scale for a major software vendor. Internet and e-commerce products experience is a plus Java development skills and object oriented design experience, including working knowledge of core libraries, design patterns, and frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate Experience of enterprise server technologies, including object relational frameworks, message-oriented middleware, and REST and SOAP web services Experience in database design, performance optimization and SQL, particularly Oracle and MySQL Deep experience building high-volume transactional systems that exhibit excellent RASP (reliability, availability, scalability, performance) characteristics Strong leadership skills, and an ability to mentor and groom other engineers Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment BS in Computer Science or related

Experience with one or more dynamic languages (Python, Ruby, JavaScript) Experience with Maven,security principles,web services protocols,REST style architectures Experience with deployment ,management and monitoring of applications in a hosted environment MS in Computer Science or related
