Essential Responsibilities:
Development of a QA Strategy on project level considering Harman Quality Goals, Customer Quality Requirements and the project scope
Process Tailoring to Project Needs.
Track, report and escalate Quality Assurance issues
Perform process Milestone Assessments
Facilitate SW/HW/ME-FMEAs
Update FBA and performing derived actions
Perform Product Maturity Measurement
Lessons Learned
Define Key Process Indicators
Report on Project Quality Assurance(APQP)
Drive Preventative actions of Quality Assurance (APQP)
Execute Quality Gates for SW, HW, and Mechanics over Project Life cycle.
Interface with Manufacturing and Customer Quality Representatives.

Basic Qualifications:
REQUIRED Specific Knowledge, Expertise, Coursework
Strong experience and knowledge of the principles and procedures related to HW APQP, Hardware and Software Development experience, Manufacturing Knowledge -, statistical process control (SPC), problem solving, automotive production part approval process (PPAP), auditing, and quality operating systems, CMMI/SPICE Software Maturity Models.
REQUIRED Degree and/or Training, including specifically defined educational equivalent
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Equivalent).
REQUIRED Specific Prior Experiences
At least 5 years of previous experience in Automotive APQP.
Experience in Automotive industry Hardware/Software Design and Release.
Experience with statistical methods, problem solving methodologies, PPAP, FMEA, measurement system assessment (MSA), and automotive quality management systems.

Master of Science in Engineering or other graduate degree.
PREFERRED Certifications/Licenses
ASQ, CQE, or CQA.
PREFERRED Specific Prior Experiences
Automotive APQP for HW.
