The primary purpose of this position is to perform a variety of administrative functions in
support of operations and engineering.
This is an intermediate position level position with no supervisory responsibility and
will perform all required tasks with minimal supervision. This position will serve as a mentor for less senior employees.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:
Prepare the following reports:
Daily Activity Report
Weekly Workover Reports
Weekly/Monthly production reports to partners
AFE Variance Reports
Wellview - Daily drilling and completion reports
Perform the following tasks/actions:
Wellview and Merrick Database Administration
Wellview Well Setup
Drilling Procedure and Cost Estimates
Regulatory filings – Drilling / Completion
Maintain of various production spreadsheets, as
Maintain equipment inventories
Cost tracking – drilling and production
Preparation of bid packages, bidding for
services (mud, casing, water hauling, etc.)
Well file maintenance
Coordinate Master Service Contract
Any other job-related duty as deemed appropriate by management.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Thorough knowledge of common administrative functions, knowledge of Merrick and WellView.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, ability to multi-task, ability to
communicate across various levels of the organization.
Skilled in the use of MS Office, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook (AS400 experience
Qualifications & Work Environment:
Education, Training, and Experience
Diploma or degree in a technical discipline and a minimum of 3 years related professional
experience, or high school diploma and a reasonable equivalency attained
through practical experience
This position is primarily sedentary in nature.
Work in this position is primarily based in an office where there is no exposure to extreme
hot/cold temperatures which is well-lit and relatively free from dangerous
