Performs standard testing processes on a variety of equipment and records and analyzes results. Able to understand and execute on written test procedures.
Mechanically inclined and able to derive fixtures and determine equipment necessary for product verification and validation testing.
Familiarity with data acquisition equipment and software desirable.
Good communication skills required, with ability to convey test results through written reports and data sheets.
Familiarity and competency with general electronics soldering techniques required.
Familiarity with working with, and testing, electro-mechanical components containing printed circuit boards also desirable.
Requires knowledge of industry specific tests and testing equipment.
Requires an associate's degree and 5+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Electro-mechanical background and experience required.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks. Works under direct supervision.
A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Typically reports to a supervisor.
