POSITION: ENROLLMENT & ATTENDANCE MANAGER

SITE/ASSIGNMENT: THIS IS TO ESTABLISH AN ELIGIBILITY LIST. THIS IS AN EIGHT (8) HOURS PER DAY, 261 DAYS PER YEAR POSITION.

SALARY: RANGE 24M $56,760.79 - $69,140.16

Under the direction of the Asst. Superintendent of Ed Services or designee, provide leadership, strategic enrollment planning, and oversight of student enrollment and assist with attendance strategies and efforts thought-out Victor Valley Union High School District . To plan, oversee, organize and direct the on-going operations of the districts enrollment center. To work collaboratively across the 'Victor Valley Union High School District' schools, ensuring to deliver quality school enrollment and attendance information that supports children, staff and families of VVUHSD.

Minimum Qualifications Required to Apply:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Associate's degree in related field. Five years of increasingly responsible, executive level, administrative experience in higher education. Experience in enrollment management and/or student services highly desirable as well as an understanding of the applications of technology to these fields.

LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid California driver's license and able to be insured to operate District vehicles.

Essential Duties:

Lead all enrollment and support staff at the enrollment center. Develop, plan, implement and administer programs and services as well as establishing policies and procedures necessary to support the enrollment and attendance of students of VVUHSD. E

Develops and implements enrollment models and statistical reports, tracks and projects admissions, develops student profile reports that indicate predictors of enrollment success. E

Assists in development of communication strategies for a variety of market segments that address prospective students, program and enrollment inquiries, application processes. E

Directs the analysis and reporting functions of all enrollment efforts, statistics, measures and outcomes. E

Creates long- and short-term planning and evaluation of enrollment and attendance strategies and programs, including resource management. E

Work with site attendance staff to develop and implement strategies to improve attendance and punctuality for students of VVUHSD. E

Ensures enrollment objectives, goals, budgets, policies, practices, and actions produce successful student graduation results, consistent with Victor Valley Union High School District overall mission, and strategic and master plans. E

Oversee the activities and operations of assigned functions; ensure that operations meet the strategic goals and objectives of the District. E
Establish, implement and monitor program evaluation systems for all programs and services within the area of responsibility. E

To assist in producing attendance action plans to improve attendance and meet attendance targets in partnership with site administrator such as Vice Principal for Attendance. E

Coordinate assigned programs and activities with those of other departments in VVUHSD and programs as well as outside agencies and organizations. E
Select, train, motivate and evaluate administrative staff; establish and monitor employee performance objectives; prepare and present employee performance reviews; provide or coordinate staff training; work with employees to correct deficiencies; implement discipline procedures. E
Assist in the development and administration of the budget for assigned functions; direct the forecast of additional funds needed for staffing, equipment, materials and supplies; monitor and approve expenditures; made mid-year corrections. E
