WGU enrollment counselors are responsible for recruiting, enrolling and advising new students through the enrollment process.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Recruit, enroll, and assist new students who apply for the university's degree programs, certificates & online courses.
- Collaborate across a variety of University departments to meet the needs of an applicant.
- Occasionally staff the university booth at various educational fairs & job fairs.
- Help cross-train other employees.
Strong verbal & written communication and demonstrated recruiting and customer service skills.
Analytical and problem solving skills required.
Strong reasoning ability. Must be able to determine, investigate, and solve customer problems.
Bachelor's Degree required (or actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree).
Solid sales, recruiting or customer service experience.
Ability to train in our Salt Lake City office
