The primary responsibility of the Enrollment Management Consultant is to provide enrollment management consulting advice via written reports to clients based on a review of off-the-shelf materials, analysis of institutional data, and on-campus interviews.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: (not limited to)
Manage projects that include operational reviews of enrollment-related offices
Develop recruitment and financial aid strategies
Responsible for retention audits
Mentor enrollment management staff
Write reports and maintain client contact and follow-up
Develop services designed to support the achievement of institutional enrollment and net tuition revenue goals
Work with the research team to enhance analytical techniques or report layouts
Share responsibility for sales, including talking with prospective clients; writing proposals; making sales presentations; writing for publications; presenting at conferences; and contributing to the overall marketing plan.
QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Licenses/Certifications, Skills and Work Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree is required, Master’s preferred.
Five plus years’ experience as an enrollment management professional.
A strong understanding of financial aid, admissions, and enrollment management data analysis is essential.
Excellent quantitative, written, and oral communication skills.
Ability to effectively interface with a range of on-campus personnel
Experience in the strategic use of financial aid is preferred, and use of statistical regression models is beneficial.
Self-starter, able to plan and execute tasks and projects, and achieve goals, with minimal supervision
Must be willing to travel at least 40% of the time
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
