LOCATION: Gold River
Under the guidance of the Enrollment Manager, the Enrollment Support Representative will be responsible for review and reconciliation of carrier websites and report for the purpose up updaing applicant back office records with the most current status.This position requires the individual to act as a liaison between various carrier partners and eHealth for applicants applying for IFP and/or ancillary products. The primary focus is to obtain approved members while providing excellent customer service.
Exchange information with the health insurance carrier throughout the review process (via email, Extranet notes, telephone, website, etc.) to determine and obtain outstanding requirements
Proactively make outbound telephone calls and emails to applicants to notify and obtain outstanding underwriting requirements.
Process work queues that are generated during the various stages of follow-up to maintain the most current status and complete the review process.
Research and resolve issues encountered while processing daily tasks.
Coordinate and facilitate the communication (ie: faxes, email & verbal responses) between the applicant and the insurance carrier.
Provide feedback to Supervisors on trends that would affect the established Enrollment processes or close ratios.
Provide feedback to Supervisors on new processes or procedures communicated by the insurance carrier while processing daily tasks.
Respond to telephone calls from applicants, carriers and coworkers.
Research tasks assigned by management (i.e. work flow processes, member issues, application statuses, etc…).
High School diploma required, some College education preferred.
Insurance or Call Center experience preferred.
Mortgage or lending experience preferred
Word and Excel experience.
Internet & e-mail familiar.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Detail oriented. Analytical and problem solving skills.
Strongly skilled in organization & prioritization.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Prior experience in the insurance, banking or mortgage industry.
Call Center experience.
