The Enrollment Systems Senior Solutions Analyst plays a central role in the overall strategy, planning, implementation, coordination and maintenance of technical solutions meant to support the institution's enrollment-based business operations. This is a senior level role that will partner with operational areas that utilize PeopleSoft, PowerFAIDS and other third party software solutions to address on-going business process needs. This person will facilitate, guide, and coach a group of highly skilled technical and business professionals in the use and evolution of systems in support of enrollment-based initiatives. The Enrollment Systems Senior Solutions Analyst will provide technical counsel and guidance on topics and projects related to solutions supporting enrollmentbased initiatives to senior management.
Serve as technical lead in a highly matrixed environment in the on-going development and sustainable engineering of enrollment-based technical solutions
Contribute to the advancement of a shared vision for the overall technical architecture by working with a variety of campus constituents
Facilitate technology architecture, design, and development decisions that align with operational needs and business processes
Serves as a senior member of the Enterprise Solutions Team; is a "go to" person for technical questions related to enrollment-based business processes
Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentoring to HWS staff on institutional enrollment-based initiatives
Develop technical resolutions to support and enhance enrollment-based operational processes, and work to implement new operational processes as needed by the user community
React quickly to new opportunities for extending the use of enterprise solutions throughout the institution
Provides superior customer service to all user constituent groups
Stays informed of new technology developments regarding PeopleSoft, PowerFAIDS and other enterprise solutions and makes recommendations on how best to respond to these new developments
Provides input into the annual financial budgeting process
Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or Business Administration or applicable years of experience
5+ years experience in the implementation of multi-tiered enterprise systems, data architecture, and an overall solutions development methodology
5+ years overall experience in software development and systems architecture
3+ years experience in Higher Education setting preferred
3+ years supporting enrollment-based technical solutions preferred
2+ years technical experience in PeopleSoft implementations preferred
2+ years technical experience with relational databases
2+ years experience in a technical lead role
2+ years technical experience in PowerFAIDS implementations preferred
Experience with Campus Solutions in PeopleSoft 8.8 or higher preferred
Understanding of Constituent/Customer Relationship Management solutions desired
2+ years direct experience with PeopleSoft development tools Process Scheduler, Application Designer, Application Engine, Application Messaging, Component Interface, and PeopleCode is a plus.
Demonstrated experience in written and interpersonal communication skills to include facilitating meetings, writing status reports, developing project plans, and generating cost estimates.
