Global Corporate Functions IT, both a division of Chevron's Information Technology Company and an Operating Concern, is looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to join its internal information technology team. The successful candidate will be challenged to drive companywide bottom line impact through the effective use of architecture to drive IT resources for maximum long term business impact. The shared processes include critical information management for the Enterprise Architecture function, including information about company IT standards, architecture models and architecture review findings.
The successful candidate must be an experienced business leader, highly skilled, motivated, and results driven, who enjoys a challenging environment, and is able to work independently. The successful candidate must understand the work processes and information needs of enterprise architects and demonstrate the ability to collaborate with other architects and business leaders. Candidates must be willing to relocate to San Ramon or other Chevron business locations as needed.
Experience in the use of Enterprise Architecture information systems, to manage Enterprise Architecture models and standards, is highly desirable.
Knowledge of Health Environment and Safety or Human Resources functions, is highly desirable.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Collaborate with enterprise architects across Chevron to understand EA requirements generated by business strategies and operational requirements.
Help Enterprise Architecture personnel use architecture management systems.
Lead or participate in managing architecture information.
Manage standards for enterprise architecture information, including the management of standards information and architecture models.
Consult on the use of IBM System Architect to develop architecture models and report architecture information.
Facilitate the development and evolution of the architecture and governance processes.
BA/BS Degree in IT Systems or a related engineering discipline is required
Five years of progressive levels of experience related to the requirements of the position.
At least 4 years in enterprise architecture, technology strategy and technology managment.
Working experience managing IBM Rational System Architect to include user access and permissions, encyclopedia manager, catalog manager, and meta-model (USRPROPS) file changes.
Experience creating and managing encyclopedias and workspaces.
Experience using IBM license site and System Architect license manager.
Experience in testing new releases for IBM System Architect to include encyclopedia upgrades.
Advanced degree in technical field or MBA is desired.
Strong communication skills.
Certification within an Architecture Framework, TOGAF or similar framework.
Experience with EA modeling using IBM System Architect or similar EA tool.
Experience with SharePoint information management.
Experience with Health Environment and Safety or Human Resources functions.
Relocation may be considered within Chevron parameters.
