This position ensures effective management and use of enterprise data assets to support PSCU strategic goals. Incumbent will apply principles, theories, and concepts to analyze and model data to promote enterprise-wide sharing and management of data assets. Incumbent will lead efforts to expand use of data as strategic enabler of PSCU goals and objectives, and will lead implementation of data management function, including ensuing the data quality, data modeling, and data standards. Incumbent will also maintain overall accountability for enterprise data.
Incumbent will define data-gathering requirements, manage, investigate, and resolve data quality issues, conduct data analysis and mining, and design and implement reporting solutions. Incumbent will also develop common language for data definitions across the organization, and lead data normalization.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Develop enterprise data architecture, data management methodology and standards; Define target architectures to support components of the data management and reporting conceptual architecture Lead data management strategies, governance and design; Develop and communicate data architecture vision and applied technology road map for enterprise data initiatives Promote enterprise data architecture and transformation plan to both technology team and company-wide Develop structured information environment and standardized data models, enabling full traceability and data lineage across the enterprise data landscape Implement data governance and stewardship processes, and support data governance bodies, including the formation, facilitation, and scheduling of meetings and agendas for work groups Develop conceptual data models and conceptual data flow for related projects Lead projects to resolve data and data integration design issues Collaborate with key ITS stakeholders to ensure solutions meet projects' information requirements and fit within broader enterprise architecture context; Provide input and consulting support on large-scale projects and road maps for compatibility with the enterprise vision Engage with project teams to ensure developed solutions are consistent with standards and defined future state enterprise architecture Review and assist in development of resource plans and estimates for data-related components of solutions

Education: Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Master's degree preferred.
Experience: Seven (7) years enterprise data architecture experience required, to include development and management of data warehousing/reporting, data modeling, mapping, and analysis. Three (3) years ETL (Extract, Transformation, and Load) experience required. Experience designing, implementing, and supporting SQL server environment required. Experience with financial services or brokers/dealers required.
