This person has responsibility for the management of Enterprise Web Services and Operations, as well as Service Management for Public Facing Websites. The functional teams providing these services include internal and external Web Systems Administration and Public Facing Website (PFW) service management. The scope of responsibility for the Web Technical Service & Integration Manager includes all Campbell Soup Company divisions and business units worldwide. This person will provide practical hands-on experience as well as supervise, administer and control all activities related to the software planning, architecture, and design for these environments. This person reports to the Director – Enterprise Systems Management. This person is responsible for the management and direction multiple consultants from three different IT service partners providing resources both onsite and in multiple countries, primarily India.
- · Responsible for the delivery of technology solutions and services to multiple internal and external customers and functional areas. · Aligns and actively manages excellent relationships with internal IT business partners (Business Engagement team, Application Development teams, IT Competency Center teams, Security and Controls, and GTS team), external IT business partners (including Marketing/Advertising Agencies), technology service providers (hardware/software vendors, consulting firms, etc.). · Manages all strategic and operational duties for the respective IT platforms (Release Mgmt, Capacity Planning, Monitoring, Disaster Recovery, Platform Efficiencies, SLAs, and Provisioning in the case of a sourced delivery model manages the supplier performance against the agreed outcomes. Ensures that vendor complies with agreed standards of care and operating procedures. · Responsible for the establishment of policies and procedures pertaining to end to end systems management including the availability, integrity, security, performance, capacity planning, utilization and operational support of all supported platforms. · Manages SLA definition, adherence and seeks ways to improve service performance. · Ensures all platform monitoring alerts are defined and aligned with business needs. · Leads the discovery evaluation and selection of enterprise architecture solutions (including RPF process). · Provides a leading role in developing a long term financial strategy and roadmap and Internal / External Website service platforms and manages the budget for these respective service areas. · Defines and manages the overall performance, scalability, metrics / reporting, and cost of operations for the platform. · Optimizes the total cost of ownership for the platform / technology. · Reviews new business requirements and leads in the decision making process for platform / technology solutions. · Drives new service development initiatives and / or improvements to the existing services. · Partners with the business owners of the platform / application to optimize the cost of service delivery. Proactive seeks ways to reduce cost. · Defines the technical architecture and design for multiple platforms / technologies for the enterprise. · Provides senior level expertise on decisions and priorities regarding the enterprise's overall systems architecture. · Leads in establishing the implementation standards, guidelines, and policies for multi-platform solutions across the enterprise. · Participates as the technology lead for one or more IT functional areas on the technical architecture and/or governance boards. · Works with business stakeholders and suppliers to establish the platform performance scorecard and leads the quarterly scorecard review. · Ensures knowledge transfer process and procedures exist for technical platform ensures service provider can manage the platform to an SLA once it is taken into productive life. · Communicates and aligns the platform strategy to business stakeholders and creates ways to empower business users to make better decisions.. · Develops strategy for the technical platform. · Provides SME consultation. · Leads the governance process for respective platform and technology. · Ensures projects/programs are defined, tracked and communicated in a consistent and effective manner via Clarity. Incorporates effective change and risk management controls. · Liaison between the technical team, service provider, application, infrastructure teams and the BE office. · Coaches and mentors more junior technical staff
· Leads complex technology projects / programs in support of technology upgrades and transformations.
§ Sets strategic direction for multiple and diverse technology platforms including IIS, .NET, ASP.NET, JBOSS Sitecore; Google Search Appliance; Lucene/Solr) § Leads multiple projects / programs. § Provides more senior level Web Technical Services skills to many functional areas throughout the enterprise. § Establishes Technical Architecture framework for each given platform / technology. § Leads Technical Architecture governance process for each respective platform. § Tracks emerging technologies and the associated fit (technical and organizational) for the service area. § Interfaces with the business partners and suppliers to understand business requirements, the evolution of technology and translates into a technology roadmap
§ Requires in-depth knowledge across multiple technical areas and business segments. § Leads in financial management and analysis, business case development, and benefits realization for area of responsibility. § Manages the budget (infrastructure and services) for each service tower. § Translate business needs into the roadmap, can articulate cost implications of business choices to the business. § Identifies on an on-going basis where improved design policies, platform or operation standards can reduce cost. § Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. § Requires 10 years of IT Systems Management experience (including 5 years of Web Technical Services experience). § Performing systems planning, architecture design, engineering (hardware and software) and optimization. § Has delivered a significant series of large infrastructure projects. § Has skills in cost management and developing a long term finance plan
