We are currently seeking an Entry Level Software Developer to design and program special requests, enhancements, conversions, and defect repairs for our customers. The successful candidate is a team player with a positive attitude.
•Designs and codes solutions for special requests, enhancements, conversions and defects
•Handles all code changes and/or corrections and makes library code changes, as needed
•Tests all code changes and troubleshoots system issues
•May prepare sizing/work estimates for assigned enhancements
•Assists in testing functionality and researches any issues discovered
•Handles internal and external inquiries concerning existing and/or new functionality
•May train internal staff on application changes or functionality of enhancements
•Assists internal departments with writing release notes and system documentation
•Prepares project status reports
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
•Knowledge of programming languages and relational database concepts
•Proficient in Microsoft Office
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Ability to work with and understand confidential information
•Ability to work successfully both as a team member and independently
•Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
•Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality
