We are seeking entry-level Comm Systems Engineers interested in Communications and Data Systems for the next 6 months in our Redondo Beach, California location. We will be hiring for two levels of experience (see description below). Please apply to be considered for one of these future opennings.

The Comms Systems Engineer will support architecture trades, design analysis, and performance modeling through computer simulation.

Individual will provide systems engineering support to hardware developments for air, space, and ground systems utilizing state-of-the-art antenna, RF, digital, and microelectronics technologies. Project roles span all phases of product development cycle, from new business acquisition, and IRAD/ technology development to established programs delivering integrated hardware and software systems.

Systems engineering activities include system architecture design, trade studies, specification development, requirement definition and allocation, performance analysis and simulation; system modeling and simulation tool development, and support to hardware design, manufacturing, integration and test.

Academic and/or work experience should include exposure to several of the following: communication systems, RF and digital hardware design, baseband and digital signal processing, waveform design, signal detection and estimation, and synchronization theory.


Basic Qualifications:
BS, MS or Ph.D degree required, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Physics, and Math/ Computer Sciences.

Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance and/or SSBI security clearance within 6 months from date of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates have completed relevant coursework in (Communication Theory or Digital Signal Processing).

Leadership, strong verbal and written communication skills desired. Active

DoD Secret clearance and/or SSBI security clearance preferred.
