Tetra Tech currently has an opening for an environmental
analyst at a power generation plant in Boulder,
Colorado. This would be at least a one year assignment.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years
Clean Air Act experience, a B.S. in environmental
engineering or environmental sciences or an AA degree in
environmental technology with 4 years’ experience.

This position would include:
  • Conducting all aspects of Clean Air Act and Title V
compliance, including CEMS quarterly testing and records
  • Conducting spill prevention control and countermeasure
plan inspections, recordkeeping, and compliance
  • Conducting wastewater discharge permit inspections,
sampling (conducted by plant chemist), and
  • Conducting annual environmental training for the plant
staff using a prepared training program.
  • Conducting all aspects of RCRA compliance activities
at the facility, which includes the ability to get
forklift certification (training to be provided) and
move all waste barrels for disposal.
  • Conducting EPCRA annual inventory and HAZCOM
compliance activities.
  • Managing aboveground storage tank inspections and
compliance activities.
  • Overseeing ash disposal site and associated
  • Preparing technical reports and permit applications
for the above based on the interpretation of data,
observations, and current regulations.
In addition, the position will require assisting with
budget preparation and work to implement programs within
budget, time, and regulatory constraints.
