Oxbow Carbon LLC is currently looking to hire an Environmental Attorney to join the Legal Department in West Palm Beach, Florida. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In this challenging role you will provide substantive legal advice and representation regarding the environmental issues affecting our operations throughout the world. This position requires experience working with environmental agencies, such as the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, state and foreign agencies in charge of natural resources and environmental protection, and third parties. We are looking for someone who can evaluate, analyze and communicate relevant facts and legal concepts in the environmental arena.

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB REQUIREMENTS
•Law degree from an accredited law school; prefer a candidate licensed to practice in the State of Florida, but at a minimum be a member of a state bar.
•Minimum of 5-7 years professional experience in a wide range of environmental legal issues, including environmental litigation (civil and administrative) and regulatory proceedings.
•A broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures of law utilized in the successful completion of difficult assignments.
•Demonstrated excellent legal research skills.
•Ability to work effectively in a diverse and fast paced work environment.
•Provides legal support services, including but not limited to legal research, review and preparation of written communications and legal documents.
•Demonstrated ability to be responsive and supportive to business and commercial staff.
•Provides training and guidance to the Company and its personnel on compliance and emerging legal issues.
