About the position

The Environmental Technician is responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of water treatment systems at client sites. The position is accountable for the ongoing monitoring of such systems, ensuring that all work adheres to safety regulations and federal or state requirements.

This position will be responsible for all site operations to include, but not limited to monitoring or maintenance of in-service equipment, conducting environmental sampling of ground or surface water, troubleshooting and correcting systems when necessary, prepare and submit reporting data related to systems and interacting with on-site clients.

This position has multiple openings with multiple shifts available. Part-time weekend or evening shifts possible.

This position requires prolonged standing, sitting and bending, maneuvering in tight spaces, hand dexterity to operate manual and power tools, lifting of 60 – 80 pounds, and strong communication skills.

About you

A successful candidate might be a recent college graduate with a construction, engineering, or environmental services degree. Construction or field experience with plumbing, electrical or mechanical is a plus. You should have good communication and customer service skills. What you lack in work experience should be made up with a willingness to learn and a positive work attitude.
