Our Rosemount, MN Refinery has an environmental leadership development position for the right Environmental professional. Our organization seeks an Environmental Manager to prepare for the next Environmental leadership opportunity within Flint Hills Resources. Working for the Environmental Director, you will manage the daily environmental compliance programs overseeing a staff of 20. You will work with the environmental team to gain an understanding of our culture and the expectations of environmental leadership within our organization and participate as a member of the production leadership team.
Oversight of environmental and compliance performance for the 16
largest refinery in the United States.
Oversight and development of experienced environmental professionals
Environmental leadership for plant execution of FHR operations that continue to meet environmental compliance requirements
Provide input to corporate performance standards and ensure refinery management systems meet the minimum requirements of approved standards.
Environmental Base Management Systems oversight and continuous improvement consistent with the site Environmental Plan
Oversight for implementation of new environmental rules, regulations, or policies
Accountability for execution of action item closure resulting from Compliance Audits
Budget management accountabilities
Additional responsibilities in emergency situations to support refinery operations
Seven years of experience in an environmental role
Experience as a supervisor or manager
This role is not eligible for work visa sponsorship
Work experience in an industrial setting
Air compliance experience
Compliance systems exposure
