The Environmental Product Compliance Analyst will implement and assist in the understanding, monitoring, and enforcement key environmental legislation including: Conflict Minerals, RoHs, REACH, WEEE, and Packaging. The ideal candidate will work closely with key business stakeholders in Corporate Environmental Compliance Team and Global Supply Chain organizations to communicate supplier compliance status, potential continuity of supply risks, and mitigation plans to protect the company interest.
This position reports into the Global Supply Chain Quality & Compliance organization.
Collaborate with Corporate Environmental Compliance and Global Supply Chain Environmental Product Compliance Lead to ascertain how new/existing regulatory requirements apply to PB product Assist the GSC Product Compliance Lead in educating internal stakeholders on regulatory requirements Collaborate with key functional teams Line of Business, Engineering, and Procurement to identify solutions to ensure compliance. Collaborate with Direct Procurement Commodity Managers and Suppliers to obtain pertinent information to demonstrate compliance to regulatory requirements Collaborate with Pitney Bowes Top 100 Suppliers (based on procurement direct spend) Senior Leaders and Compliance Teams to educate them on Pitney Bowes environmental compliance requirements and expectations. Obtain and review supplier critical documents to ensure compliance with Pitney Bowes and Government requirements. Ensure supplier documents and data are entered, maintained, and monitored using the GenSuite software application. Review supplier data and develop gap remediation plans when applicable Manage internal requests for product related compliance requirements Confirm US and International product registrations Create and develop reports and communicate to Pitney Bowes Senior Leaders and Legal organization on compliance status. Review timeline to plan, identify any potential litigation issues, risk mitigation plans, and overall plan to ensure compliance. Keep abreast of new and change regulatory requirements, and make recommendations to ensure compliance. Represent the Global Supply Chain Quality & Compliance organization in business core team meetings with representatives from Line of Business, Marketing, Engineering, Procurement, and Service.
