Chevron Environmental Management Company (EMC) provides liability management and technical solutions on soil and groundwater contamination and facility decommissioning for Chevron Corporation. Our project managers are well-versed in Capital Stewardship Organizational Capability (CSOC) principles.

Key Job Responsibilities for the positions may include but are not limited to:
Strategic planning, scope development, budgeting, cost control, implementation of site assessment and remedial action for soil/groundwater.
Provides leadership and management of consultants/contractors including commitment to Operational Excellence and Safety and Environmental issues.
Negotiates with property owners and federal, state/local regulatory agencies.
Conveys priority of safe operations to peers/contractors/consultants including stewardship of Chevron's Behavior Based Safety Program, LPS.
Conducts Loss Prevention Observations, Near Miss and Incident Investigations.
Strategic Thinking: develops, engages & leads others to vision of success and end-state vision.
Manages multiple tasks, prioritize work & meet deadlines.
Negotiates with regulatory agencies regarding project direction/remedial goals.

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required in Engineering, Geology, Earth Sciences or Environmental Science.
Minimum 10 years project management experience working with consultants/suppliers.
Demonstrated third-party negotiation experience or skills.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 20-35% domestically.
Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Demonstrated working knowledge of CSOC and CPDEP.
Demonstrated ability to apply technical knowledge to resolve problems using cost effective solutions.
Demonstrated technical knowledge of soil and groundwater contamination and remediation issues.
Demosntrated contractor safety management experience.
This is a Safety Sensitive position.
Relocation may be considered within Chevron parameters.
