Perform environmental field work including soil and groundwater sampling, overseeing drilling activities, logging soil borings, aquifer testing, and troubleshooting remediation systems. Environmental reporting including soil and groundwater data evaluation, analyzing aquifer tests, conducting Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, recommending remedial activities, and Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPPs). Work to be performed independently and under the direction of the project manager. Must be comfortable interfacing with clients and regulatory agencies at both the state and federal levels. Clients include industrial facilities, power plants, and local governments. Knowledge of environmental software such as Aqtesolv, Surfer, Modflow, ArcGis, and Rockworks is preferred. Overnight travel up to 5-10 nights per month depending upon project needs.
Background Requirements:
B.S. in Hydrogeology, Geology, Civil or Environmental Engineering. P.G., P.E., and/or NV C.E.M. preferred. Must have 5-15 years of experience.
