Assigns employees to perform environmental services and sanitation tasks on a daily basis. Assists the director in maintaining a high quality standard of cleanliness by conducting daily inspections to observe cleaning processes, equipment in use, and ensure that standards are being met. Maintains records and prepares reports on activities and work performance. Orients, trains,supervises, and evaluates departmental personnel. Works flexible shifts and weekends as needed.
Associates or bachelors degree preferred. Minimum of 3 years experience in a health care setting, with at least one year of supervisory experience in Environmental Services. CEH preferred. Must be able to operate a variety of equipment. Must be able to use a personal computer and calculator. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
