Establish, implement and monitor all EHS practices, policy and programs designed within the corporate philosophy to safeguard the well being of employees at work or home (wellness). Provide local managers with specific actions to assure compliance with all laws. Evaluate and provide direction for programs to minimize physical and financial exposure from potential or actual risks. Facilitate, coordinate and or train employees as necessary. Audit EHS program and accomplished field audit to assure program sustainability.
Responsible for assisting management/supervision in the aspects of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS), including regulatory compliance and worker's compensation or social security, at the branch locations within the Territory. Visit each site in the Territory on a regular schedule as approved by Territory EHS Manager. Attend site manager/supervisor meetings to discuss EHS issues and support programs and projects. Act as a consultant/advisor to managers and supervisors in the Territory. Assist managers and supervision to ensure that technicians and appropriate branch personnel complete required EHS training as defined by policy. Assist Supervisors and others as needed to perform the training or to conduct Train the Trainer. Visit construction jobsites to monitor the successful implementation of EHS programs. Assist management/supervision in conducting accident investigations. Assist during audits and inspections including an annual self-assessment of each district in the Territory. Review the third party audit findings. Assure corrective actions and timely responses to non-compliance issues. Act as a contact person for government agencies. Ensure location EHS leaders/coordinators complete reporting requirements of company reporting tools, governmental agencies, customer inquiries and other inquiries as required. Analyze and review monthly reports for trends and action items. Assist in EHS pre-planning on new service and contracting jobs. Monitor contractor activities as they relate to EHS including training requirements. Continue education to assure up to date knowledge of EHS, Workers Compensation/Social Security management and professional development. //-----------//

Bachelor's degree in medical, occupational safety, safety sciences Engineering, or related field. Demonstrated working knowledge of OSHA required and has completed OSHA Outreach Training in Construction and General Industry within 12 months of assignment. Up to 50% travel required. Regular travel to assigned district locations expected. Some travel required to other office locations as well as customer sites. Excellent computer skills in MS Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word. Must have training in EPA Refrigerant Compliance regulations or equivalent within 12 months of assignment and complete Rigging Inspection Certification with 18 months of assignment.
