Applied Ecological Services has a full-time, benefitted Equipment Operator position available at their Conshohocken, PA location effective immediately.

Responsibilities include: Loading, transporting and operating equipment to perform restoration work; complete all forms of restoration field work; supervise crew members; maintain project records and equipment logs; communicate with clients, project staff and AES employees professionally and courteously.

Preferred education is a Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in ecological restoration and native plant identification are a plus. Experience running and maintaining landscaping/farm equipment will be important. Position will require employee to acquire herbicide applicators license and CDL.

Must be able to lift/move up to 80 pounds on occasion and up to 35 pounds on a regular basis. Valid driver’s license required, in-state driver’s license preferred. Overnight trips will be required. Salary is based on experience. Must be at least 21 years of age.

Special requirements of this job include: Class A CDL license, DOT CMV physical card, certification and successful completion of road test, work boots with safety toe, work gloves, hard hat, and safety glasses.
