EQUIPMENT OPERATOR, ATLANTA, GA
Hour: 7AM to 3PM with flexibility required
The equipment operator is responsible for ensuring all machines utilized in the Production Department are functioning properly at all times and makes sures supplies are fully stocked and accessible. Responsible for moving exhibits and transcripts from the printer to the exhibits library in an organized and detailed manner.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Removes jobs off printer in an organized and efficient manner, associates DVD’S and CD’s with the correct jobs and places in the applicable regions as well as tracks and locates pending jobs. Maintain machine trays for jobs. Making sue title pages/company name are accurate.
Communicates with RPC (Regional Production Coordinators) as to any changes in job status, at times will be required push through and expedite print jobs.
Calls in any machine maintenance needed for all machines utilized in the Production Department. Notify supervisor with all details.
Daily stock and inventory supplies for all machines in Production, including company title pages.
Communicates with direct Supervisor as to any repetitive issues with machines and/or supplies in jeopardy of going below standard stock number.
Helps support the UPS/FedEx Shipping Station as needed.
Researches issues with prints through the Intranet/AGH Central and/or Solaria.
Assists other divisions of Production when needed.
Trains and/or cross trains employees as assigned.
Assists in clean up, organization of production area in general, inventory assistance and any other additional task.
Other duties as assigned by AGH Management.
MINIMUM TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School diploma or GED required.
Skills and Abilities:
Strong attention to details and extremely organized.
Ability to stand and move around for eight hours or more.
Computer literate and able to learn the use of new software with ease.
Flexible schedule and availability to work occasional overtime.
Ability to work with deadlines and work well under pressure.
Ability to multi-task.
Works well independently and with other department members.
Accepts direction well.
Excellent attendance and punctuality.
