As an Equity Analyst, you would be joining the St. Louis based, five member investment team of PNC Capital Advisors, who manage equity products in the Small Cap, Mid Cap Value, and All Cap spaces. The Small Cap Equity product/Fund (PPCIX) and All Cap Equity offering are both top decline ranked amongst peer and are in increasingly high demand in both the retail and institutional space . Your responsibilities will broadly consist of analyzing companies across the size and sector spectrum for each of the products while also monitoring some of the existing holds from all products. You will report to the Managing Director and Sr. VP of the team while working closely with the other Portfolio Managers and analysts .

The Equity Analyst would join a highly successful and seasoned investment team. They would work closely with the Portfolio Managers and other Analysts in reviewing publically traded companies utilizing our proven investment philosophy and process within our existing cash flow framework . The vast majority of time would be spent doing extensive fundamental research of companies with no specific sector focus. Other tasks include monitoring existing holdings in the portfolio and those from our Review List that could meet our requirements in the future. In this role, the Equity Analyst will utilize FactSet, CS HOLT, Excel and other fundamental research tools as a supplement to your individual security analysis skills.

The Analyst position requires someone who is very detail oriented, with excellent writing and communication skills. They must be comfortable working both by themselves and within a faster paced five person investment team. They must be able to collaborate with others and be able to shift tasks and focus quickly when needed. This position will have little direct client contact, but will at times, require the ability to talk with researched company’s management and to participate in Institutional Investment Consultant meetings.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
-Bachelors degree required

- pursuing MBA and/orCFA preferred.
- Highly competitive, good analytical skills, well organized and efficient, self motivating, desire to collaborate with other team members, and the ability to think independently and critically as well as communicate ideas in both verbal and written form.
