-Support P&S Dept with price corrections and trade related problems
-Assist in telephone coverage in times of heavy demand or short staff.
-Responding to departmental wires on a timely basis
-Learn and remain current on all trading systems
-Develop working knowledge of all viable market centers and their areas of expertise.
-Work MSI reports to insure best execution for our correspondents.
-Analyze billing reports for correct allocation of charges
-Daily short sale review (T+1)
-Marketable option review (T+1)
-Best execution review of market centers
-Reconciliation of open order files with execution points
-Obtain working knowledge of order entry and execution rules pertaining to all types of trading
-Monitor ACT terminal for potential limit violations
-General support for correspondent needs
-Successful completion of Series 7, 55 & 63 regulatory examinations
-Excellent communication skills
-Ability to work under pressure
-Must be able to work with other departments to ensure consistent work-flow
-Preferred knowledge of trading systems
-Preferred knowledge of industry rules and regulations concerning trading
Note: Internal candidates will be expected to obtain series 7 and 55 licenses prior to advancement to position salary level.
