The position is responsible for working closely with clients to accomplish a closed transaction in a timely, efficient and error-free manner. Must be able to manage caseload, including preparation of all closing documents, after satisfying all necessary requirements and obtaining necessary clearances and approvals to complete the transaction, coordinate set up and conduct closing of transaction. Working up the files and performing the closing function
Manage closing caseload and coordinate closings with lenders, builders, agents, buyers, sellers and all other parties of interest. Address and clear conditions that may be discovered in the title search including but not limited to payoffs, liens, judgments, and probate matters. Prepare HUD1 Settlement Statement and all other closing documents necessary for the transaction. Obtain clearance and approval from lenders. Order updates from the underwriter and determine clearance to close. Perform the closing, disburse the transaction, initiate wires, issue policies, and forward closed package to lender or appropriate party for closing file maintenance\warehouse\audit. Travel to perform closings outside of the branch may be required.
Customer Service – 20%
Working with agents and consumers- proactive and reactive calls
Working with the Business Development specialist implement approved Sales programs to increase capture and\or market share, institute Operation Relationship and Silent Partner Program in all CB offices serviced
Communicate progress\challenges to SBT Branch Managers
Provide Customer Service representation by assessing the needs of the customer and offering solutions
Attend CB Functions & Sales Meetings
Assist in conducting Agent Training Classes and Seminars: Avoiding the Pitfalls, Contract to Close, etc.
Develop relationships with agents, lenders and builders to increase business
Work CB Target Agent Lists
Work with SBT Branch Managers to set positive office atmosphere with Team Players
Training – 10%
Personal development and development of assigned processor.
Attend Sharpen the Saw and Compliance calls to broaden knowledge.
Keeping current of all policy changes and communicating them to the Processor.
Making sure all Title and Escrow I-closing changes are communicated
