  • ConstructionLarge general contractor seeks professional estimator with minimum one to three years of experience estimating for a commercial general contractor. You will be concentrating on the preconstruction phase of projects, gathering information to be used to produce project estimates including calculating and estimating the expected costs of construction of any given project. You will engage in conceptual and detailed estimating, in house take-offs, documentation and scope review, value analysis, subcontractor prequalification and solicitation, comparison and cost model reporting. Estimator - Construction Requirements: Minimum one to three years of experience estimating for a commercial general contractor.Degree from an accredited university in construction management, (or pursuit thereof) also required.Knowledge of building construction techniques, framing structures and basic understanding of all construction trades, such as plumbing, electrical, etc.. is desired. Local south Florida experience is extremely desirable. Computer proficiency in the use of MS Word, Outlook, and Excel required.
