The Command Center Team (CCT) is responsible for 24x7x365 Incident Management support for GE Healthcare. The CCT is a single point of contact for incidents impacting multiple users. The
CCT logs, executes and escalates incidents through final resolution of the incident ticket.

Hours of Operation:

2 positions are open 1 for 2nd shift and 1 for 3rd shift


Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Monitoring and responding to application alerts from display screens and email
  • Executing scripts to test application availability
  • Assigning valid incidents to Event Analysts as needed
  • Ensuring that all monitoring display screens are current
  • Checking GIS tickets and Incident Notifications for possible Healthcare impact
  • Incident reporting – open tickets, unassigned tickets, weekly reports
  • Maintaining Site Support Contact List
  • Knowledgebase Updates
  • Assisting team with case management and misc. tasks as needed

Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, written/verbal communication, and organizational skills
  • Understanding of IT processes, including familiarity with IT terminology and standards
  • Self-motivated and able to multi task and manage own time in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Ability to leverage resources to seek, find, and filter relevant information
  • Comfortable working in a team environment
  • Fast learner

Desired Characteristics:
  • Prior IT Servicedesk/Helpdesk experience
  • Application and/or Hardware monitoring experience
  • Flexibility to work various shifts (day/night/weekends and Holidays).
  • Awareness of ITIL Processes (ITIL certification a plus)
