In its 45 year history, AO has exceeded prior years sales each and every year. We are seeking an Event Coordinator to lead AO event planning.

This associate will lead all aspects of AO event planning. Associate is responsible for planning, organizing and executing AO events. Manages Speaker/Key Opinion Leader logistics and relationships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Coordinates and leads key events, including the AAO, regional shows, Power2Reason Symposia, Sales Meetings, Resident Events, and company events

Works with Director – Brand & Channel Marketing to develop corporate strategy for events

Executes a rolling twelve month event plan to support AO corporate objectives

Supports international event efforts through coordination with European Marketing Coordinator and regional sales teams

Leads ACERP renewal and provides CE credits on behalf of AO

Analyzes events for brand impact and ROI

Maintains relationships with key opinion leaders and managers their speaking schedules

Coordinates contracts and renewals with speakers

Handles day-to-day management of speakers

Works with Creative team to develop and execute email blasts and collateral to support events

Required Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and at least 2 years experience in event planning and implementation.

Ability to simultaneously lead numerous projects and details

High level of organization

Willingness and ability to drive results at a fast-paced company

High level of self structure and accountability

Ability to communicate effectively with those at different levels and from different cultures

Attention to detail

Strong interpersonal skills

Concise in communication upward within the organization

Computer Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
