This position is responsible for the planning and execution of all events, and assisting the Event Manager as assigned. Experience in coordinating corporate meetings, sales meetings, customer events, social nights & vendor events. Candidate must have experience arranging travel, hotel accommodations, food and beverage and social activities. Must be able to source multimedia equipment and designroom set-up, organize meeting materials and work with in-house creative to coordinate and develop meeting/event collateral materials. Must be able to create and maintain budgets. This position requires 50% travel. Working nights and weekends for scheduled events is required.
Ideal candidate should have an Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or Hospitality.
Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
Knowledge of meeting industry software, including web registration applications is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential.
Previous event planning experience is required.
