The Event Planner will be responsible for coordinating and managing all logistical/operational details for LEM events. Specific job duties are but are not limited:
- Manages logistics for Women of Faith conferences including air travel, ground transportation, accommodations, and catering for staff, speakers and VIPs.
- Main contact for conference venue. Coordinates staffing, security, parking, custodial and all other venue-related functions with arena.
- Negotiates expenses with transportation company, caterer, arena, and other vendors.
- Disseminates conference information to staff, speakers, contractors and vendors.
Preferred candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office and have the ability to prioritize and multitask. Will possess negotiation skills, good communication skills and the ability to interact with a variety of personalities.
Desired candidate will possess 2 - 5 years of event planning experience. CMP certification is desired but not required
A bachelors degree or equivalent experience is required for this position. A bachelors degree in Meeting Management is desired but not required.
